A. Not a tax question. But to answer your question, it could go either way. Merely adding a product line does not assure success of the line or an improvement of net profit. If Microsoft came out with a line of perfumes, it would probably fail miserably. Ditto if Nike tried to get in the router market.

A. the net force would be 0. when it is moving with constant velocity, there is no acceleration. since there is 0 acceleration, using the formula F=ma, net force(resultant force) will be equals to 0 also.

How can I figure out just the net income over a certain amount using W2 amounts over $100K?
Q. I need to calculate a specific amount owed (a percentage) of the net amount of income earned over $115K for certain years. I have the tax brackets but am unsure which figures to use. For example, if a total income of $125K was earned, I need to know how to figure out the NET income of $10K (the amount over $115). I assume it should be taxed in the higher bracket but I am not sure. Thanks for any info.

Q. I have a hot tub just at the end of my 16'X13' covered deck. I think mosquito net curtains that are fould on gazeebos would be perfect for a semi private look to my deck. I have seen the curtains I want on gazeebos in patio furniture displays, but cannot find the curtains by themselves. They have finished edges(with canvas material) and graumets in order to hang on a dowel rod.

Asked by mariamaria - Mon Jul 9 22:44:30 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. It is 30 feet. USAV (club) has switched to the metric which is 29 feet, but the NFSHSA (high school and junior high rules) has not switched yet. Your net is 7' 4 1/4" so that you can mark the height you need. If you are right handed, put your left foot slightly forward. Toss the ball 2 to 3 feet above your head and in front of your right shoulder. Hit it with your palm and your wrist firm. Do not step with your right foot. Only drag your right foot if you need to. No movement is best. Do 100 tosses without hitting the ball every day. More if you have time. Start closer to the net at about 10 feet. Get 5 serves over the net and then take 1 step back. If you get it over, take another step back. And so on until you get to the… [cont.]

What does net unit mean in terms of chemistry?
Q. I read this When error is expressed in a relative way, it has no net units because the error is divided by the value of the measurement to which it refers. It is often convenient to multiply this ratio, which is the relative error, by one hundred to obtain the percentage error. But what is a net unit?
Asked by beatbozt - Sun Aug 30 20:43:24 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. In this case it means "in the end" or "in the result" or "in the answer". Take for example 3.7g +/- 0.1 g You can also express this as 0.1/3.7 = 0.027 or 2.7% Not that when you do 0.1/3.7 the units are g/g = "no net unit". The units just go away. The same thing happens in everyday life. Say you have 10 red balls in a 100 ball mix. 10 balls/100 balls = 0.1 = 10%. The 0.1 has no net units.

A. Determine speed before collision: v = sqrt(2ad) v = sqrt[(2)(9.8)(2.1)] v = -6.42 m/s Determine speed after collision: v = sqrt(2ad) v = sqrt[(2)(9.8)(1.2)] v = 4.85 m/s Impulse = change in momentum = m(change in speed) = 0.660(4.85-(-6.42)) = 11.3 N s

A. The force must be directed radially inward. This motion is called circular motion. The direction of acceleration is in the same direction as the force, radially inward. This acceleration is called centripetal acceleration.

How do I replace a basketball net?
Q. I am fairly mechanically inclined, but this has me a little bit stumped. I know how to get the old net out/new net into the corkscrew-looking tabs on the front part of the rim, but the backside of the rim only has holes. Do I have to untie the knot in the net's string there and thread it through the hole? The new net is already knotted there and is not loose. Is there an easier way than untying all of those knots, threading them through the holes and then retying them?

A. 1 part bleach, 20 parts water, a little stronger is fine. Rinse well afterwards. I have been doing this with all my gear for years, everything from tiny nets to large tanks. ***Edit To Add*** I thought this old wives tale of "Bleach will kill all your fish" had been put to rest years ago; Chlorine bleach added to water is nothing more than strongly chlorinated water, and when dealt with as that the results are the same as strongly chlorinated water.

What is the magnitude of the net electrostatic force experienced by any charge?
Q. There are four charges, each with a magnitude of 1.8 ueC. Two are positive and two are negative. The charges are fixed to the corners of a 0.25 m square, one to a corner, in such a way that the net force on any charge is directed toward the center of the square.
Asked by wsh_12 - Thu Sep 3 13:20:41 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. So you have like charges (q) in opposite corners of a square with sides d. You just have to add up the forces. The two opposite charges will each exert an attractive force equal to: F = k q^2 / d^2 Each is at a 45 degree angle to the direction of the net force, so you pick up a factor of cos(45)=sqrt(2)/2. And there are two charges, so that's a factor of 2. So the total attractive force is: Fattractive = sqrt(2) k q^2 / d^2 The like charge will exert a repulsive force of: Frepulsive = k q^2 / ( sqrt(2) d)^2 =1/2 kq^2 / d^2 So the net force is: Ftotal = k q^2 / d^2 (sqrt(2) - 1/2)

How do I figure out my monthly net income?
Q. I'll be making $48,000 a year in Florida and would like to know what my net income per month will be. I don't know how to do the calculations or what taxes and other deductions are made other than that there is a 7.5% something I will have to pay that my employer also pays. Thanks!
Asked by sasmom - Tue Mar 18 14:51:53 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Well that comes out to $932.08 per week that you would be making. So most months you would make$3,728.32 before taxes and then 4 months of the year you would make $4,660.40 before taxes. I'm not sure what Florida Taxes are, but my gross weekly income here in Arkansas is $567 and I bring home $472 - So I have $95 held out every week in taxes. Yours would be almost double that per week so I would say you would make around (give or take depending on how you file [single, married with dependants, etc.]) $2,968.32 per month in the months with 4 weeks and $3,710.40 in the months with 5 weeks. This is just a rough estimate.
